Born in Stockholm, Sweden, in 1977, Erika Lust graduated in Political Science (specialising in Feminism) from Lund University. She has lived in Barcelona since 2000. She is the co-founder of Lust Films, an audiovisual producer, journalist and writer.

In 2004, she produced and directed THE GOOD GIRL, a short, explicit narrative for women which received excellent international acclaim and which was later incorporated into Lust’s first full-length feature, FIVE STORIES FOR HER (released in April 2007). This film received the Best Script award at the Erotic Film Festival of Barcelona (2007), the Best Movie for Women at Venus Berlin (2007),
Honourable Mention in the Audience Choice category at CineKink New York (2008) and Best Film of the Year at Toronto’s Feminist Porn Awards (2008). In 2008, she directed the experimental erotic documentary, BARCELONA SEX PROJECT, and is currently preparing two new productions. Erika Lust is also the author of the book GOOD PORN: A WOMAN’S GUDE (Seal Press), a guidebook for understanding and enjoying X-rated cinema, written from the perspective of a woman fed up with the worn-out, male-oriented traditional vision of pornography.
She is now putting the finishing touches on two books, THE EROTIC BIBLE TO EUROPE, a kinky-to-chic journey through the old world, where Erika visits and recommends the hot- test erotic sites, from nudist beaches to love hotels, erotic boutiques, fetish parties and burlesque shows.
